 When it comes to perfection, the chemistry of these two artists will leave you with an essence totally from the heart. With Danny Damian’s sophisticated sexy melodies and vocal harmonies to Leo DeLeon’s seductive, energized performances, it was only a matter of time that would create this new phenomena: ASCENSION! Growing up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, these two met with the same goal in mind: to follow their musical dream, a dream that for some would seem too far out of reach. Danny and Leo, Ascension, have reached their dream and intend to dominate it. Meeting in 1993, Danny Damian and Leo DeLeon have been featured on dance compilations that would be a steppingstone to where they are today. From the bite of Metropolitans, Viper Record’s label headed by Freestyle guru Adam Marano, the well known Southern Freestyle and Taken U Higher CD produced by "Tha Spanish House Rocker" DJ Felony and Tha Manipulator, the high energy of Laced World Wide and the solo Leo DeLeon album "Look Into My Eyes" produced by Tha Manipulator, it's no wonder these two have been embraced in the local Dallas/Ft. Worth scene and nationally. With extreme exposure and reviews in magazines like, "Dance Music Authority," "Low Rider Magazine" and their hometown magazine "Tejano Connection," (now known as "The Latino Connection"), Danny and Leo have had their music played on radio stations in Texas, and across the United States. They have also shared the stage with well known dance and tejano artist such as Nu Flavor, Amber Rose, Jocelyn Enriquez, Steve B, Lil' Suzy, Angelina, Johnny O. and Cynthia, Emilio Navaira, Elida y Avante, Elizabeth Gutierrez y Texas Fire, Spanish Fly and South Park Mexicans. If any word could describe the goals and accomplishments they have accomplished "RISE" sums it up. Now in the Millennium, the title of ASCENSIONS debut album "RISE," will be released under their own label DJ records and Luna Management, in memory of Debra Ann Damian, Danny’s sister and Jose Luna Ramirez, Leo's father, both whom were great inspirations to their career. Their first single, "If You Ever," has surely gained the status of perfection and professionalism. Danny and Leo, ASCENSION, have not only proven that they have what it takes to perform with the best, but to manage, produce, record and rise with the best. With the help of CO-producer David Hernandez, Ascension has created a new sound: simple yet complex, familiar yet original, but a style all its own. With an ear and love for music and incredible talent mixed with the sounds of Dance, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Freestyle and Latin, David has captured the persona of Danny and Leo defining what Ascension is and what they will become. Ascension has already gained the respect and attention of major radio stations. Local community station KNON 89.3 have made Danny and Leo’s previous solo music a staple on their daily shows and Ken Barnett and the morning show, at KVIL 103.7 FM, Dallas, Texas, has previewed Ascensions music to rave reviews. This only the beginning and the first steppingstone of a long successful and ventures journey. And with fan’s which have followed Danny and Leo through out the years, Ascension will capture the hearts of new fan's awaiting this new promise, a promise belonging to destiny. |
