Proud to be a native New Yorker, Born in Brooklyn, he's always ready to represent. Diamond Boy Luis started his quest for the spotlight at a very young age, competing in local talent shows and performing in school plays. Following the steps of his older brother David, Diamond Boy Luis joined local groups as a background vocalist, Luis even had the opportunity of performing with his brother David, an original member of the Florida based dance group Nice and Wild who had the smash hit, Diamond Girl in the late 80's. In 1996, Diamond Boy Luis joined the legendary New York dance radio station 103.5 WKTU, quickly making his way through, Luis produced top jocks such as Broadway Bill Lee, Al Bandiero, and others. Diamond Boy Luis caught the attention of ALL STAR Program Director Frankie Blue, and played an active part on the on air staff. After making his mix at KTU, he took his talents on the road and worked in other markets such as Boston, Connecticut, and finally returning to New York in 1999 to Spanish Super Station 97.9 - WSKQ. Currently you can listen to Diamond Boy Luis on 105.9 Latino Mix NYC, Monday to Friday -6am to 10am on the CoCo Y Celines Morning Show.
